Kate was fantastic from day 1. She’s kind and down to earth and made us feel so comfortable. She was always willing to go that extra mile and even managed to find us a second photographer for the big day. We had an engagement shoot and she was so amazing. Didn’t make us do any ‘silly’ poses, just let us be ourselves. I couldn’t recommend Kate enough. Both her and Sam that we had on the day were amazing, they captured photos that I wouldn’t have even thought would be magic moments but my gosh they are wonderful. Thank you for being the best person for the day, for keeping me calm, for being a friend and a vital part of our day. We love you lots. You made our day amazing
I love weddings, lucky that I guess ;) I love that they are all different and that my couples continue to surprise me! Jess and Luke are not what I think of as a typical Disney wedding couple...Jess is pretty rock n roll with lots of gorgeous tattoos and Luke a PE teacher with stature. So when I heard that their wedding had a Disney theme and that Mickey and Minnie were turning up I was slightly surprised! But it was epic - what a cool addition - what a theme! Their day was what I love - it was their day, done their way!
They chose the gorgeous, light and airy church of St Andrews church in Langar, Nottingham. Then walked down the road to the fahhbulous gastro pub Unicorns Head Don't be afraid to look at pubs when booking your reception - they all vary wildly and offer a more quirky or laid back vibe. The Unicorn's head has a major focus on delicious food, so if that's your thing - (who doesn't love amazing grub?!) then defintiely one to look at. The Disney theme here was super subtle with place names painted on wooden signs and gorgeous flowers everywhere by Marie Aldridge
Jess's oh so stylish amazing dress is Stella York from The Wedding Room She wore converse under her dress. The men's suits from Ted baker and the boys all wore Vans
Their wedding day centred around them enjoying themselves with friends and family. Jess, an incorrigble romantic wanted shots of the things she doens't ordinarily get to see - like the way Luke looks at her when she's not looking. The best thing she said to me; "We make each other laugh, we cant argue with each other to be honest"
Be like Jess and Luke this Christmas - giggle when things get stressful and remember what really matters - each other :)
