"Remember two things; 1) That I love you 2) Nothing else matters" It's the stuff of great novels and films.  Not a dry eye in the house.  Their day; one filled with love and happiness, family and friends.  The theme; relaxed country style bedecked with Jemma's favourite shade of blue (spot the fact that even the kitchen cupboards are painted it!)  Everyone who was able had contributed to the details.  There was a beautiful tree for the seating plan, bunting and family photos for the fireplace, an incredible cake with hearts and leaves tumbling down its sides, beautiful To View More >>

Shoes, it's all about the shoes...or the dress, yes that's it.  It's all about the dress...hmmm, maybe it's the hair....or....the make up? Nah, none of those. Ian and Louise's wedding day at Alveston Manor in Stratford Upon Avon was gorgeous.  Their day was super chilled, just like them, and filled with much laughter, chuckles, belly guffaws and the odd tear as any good wedding day should be.  Louise looked stunning in her Phase Eight dress and check out her flowers, I am such a sucker for tulips, lush!  Their whole day was one of relaxed, understated elegance and they totally nailed it.  Their venue, a complete mixture of old and new, is somewhere I really hope to photograph again.  Parts of the Manor house are steeped in history; To View More >>

In a twist on an old idea Lauren had sneakily booked a gorgeous VW Camper van from Moonstruck to bring Chris to the venue.  The wedding venue; The Moat house in Acton Trussell is  simply stunning and with the wisteria out and the sun shining we were able to use this backdrop to good effect. Our only small problem was the one uninvited guest...a very territorial male swan guarding his good lady and nest of eggs.  Apparently she has now had the cygnets so To View More >>

Photography workshops are popping up all over the place.  The chance to meet with fellow photographers and unleash your creativity on a styled shoot sounds great in essence, but who do you trust with your time and money? After much deliberation I picked a workshop run by Jonny Draper held at Owen House Wedding Barn.  I definitely made the right choice. The location was stunning.  Lighting by The Word is Love and Luminate was quirky and really made the venue 'pop'.  The room was staged by Red Floral and was phenomenal. From a photographers' point of view Owen House To View More >>
