Photography workshops are popping up all over the place.  The chance to meet with fellow photographers and unleash your creativity on a styled shoot sounds great in essence, but who do you trust with your time and money?

After much deliberation I picked a workshop run by Jonny Draper held at Owen House Wedding Barn.  I definitely made the right choice.

The location was stunning.  Lighting by The Word is Love and Luminate was quirky and really made the venue 'pop'.  The room was staged by Red Floral and was phenomenal.

From a photographers' point of view Owen House was amazing.  There were romantic spots with diffused light, pastoral country tracks and even the odd sentimental cow!  I got to take edgy shots featuring farm machinery and electicity pylons.  There were even some smoke bombs thrown into the mix. What was not to love?!

It must have done its job as I left inspired and envigorated and can't wait to flex my creative muscles on my next wedding!  I may have even ordered a new lens to play with... so watch this space!
